Welcome to Fokhol Gård

– a sustainable and community-run farm with an idyllic guesthouse. They are a dedicated community of young people who have been lovingly caring for and breathing life into this wonderful place. The farm is located in beautiful Stange Vestbygd, close to Mjøsa, Norway’s largest lake. It is a living example of ecologically responsible farming and community engagement.

The guesthouse is located in the center of the courtyard and you have beautiful views from all windows. The house has its very own charm. This comes from the time when the guesthouse was a retirement home owned by Stange municipality. Today Fokhol Gard is a running farm and there is always something going on here.

The guesthouse has a capacity for 29 overnight guests.

  • 5 double rooms (2 single beds)
  • 3 double rooms (1 double bed)
  • 2 family rooms (double bed and bunk bed)

 

The house also has:

  • seminar room (space for max. 60 people)
  • Library (seats 8 people)
  • Dining room (seats 40 people)
  • Guest kitchen
  • Professional kitchen
  • Elaborate in seminar rooms: projector and screen, flipchart stand, blackboard, piano
