Enjoy the winter in the Hamar Region

Enjoy the winter’s white gold in the Hamar region, with short distances between great winter experiences. Experience snow-covered landscapes, miles of ski slopes, fresh, cold air and a steaming lake Mjøsa.

The gateway to Hedmarksvidda is situated at Budor and the beginning of 300 km of ski slopes.

If you prefer slalom, take a trip to the Hamar alpine centre. Here you will also get a fantastic view of the Hamar region.

Winter can of course also be enjoyed without skiing. Just walking along the beautiful beach promenade in Hamar and enjoying the sight of Norway's largest lake, or maybe a playful day in the toboggan run at Gåsbu, with bonfires, sausages and cocoa on the menu.
